at Portage High School West
Parents/legal guardians and families are invited to preview She Can Tech and register daughters on site for the session.
On October 28, 2018, we had our first Parent-Daughter night and the daughters made light-up greeting cards with their parents (with minimal instruction) to experience a small part of the curriculum.
For Session 2, we have three more opportunities for interested girls and their parents to meet us:
1. Fegley Middle School: stay tuned!
2. Willowcreek Middle School: April 23, 2019 (students only)
3. Portage High School: April 30, 2019
You do not need to have visited a Parent-Daughter Night to participate, but we highly encourage parents and families to attend with their daughters because support from home is so important for the success of their daughtes.
November 1-21, 2018

If interested studens had a hardship obtaining membership, scholarships were provided.

Join us for the current 14-day session of She Can Tech! This session is open to female students from Fegley and Willowcreek Middle Schools and ninth grade female students from Portage High School. Parents must help provide rides for the students to the Portage High School West PLTW Lab where the camp will be held from 4pm to 6pm. The registration fee is $15 per student, and this will pay for a t-shirt, pizza, and supplies. Scholarships are available for students with financial need. Snacks will be provided!
