In 2018, She Can Tech was started with the mission to increase the meaningful participation of girls and women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) as an NCWIT AspireIT program.

Our team is made up of high school and university students who volunteer remotely year-long to bring opportunities to our communities.

Mireina Keith

Mireina is a first year student at Purdue Fort-Wayne where she is studying computer engineering technology. Mireina has attended many STEM camps and competed in robotics as a lead programmer.

Sanja Kirova

Sanja is a second year at Columbia University studying mechanical engineering. Her interest in engineering stemmed from technology and digital arts programs at the Boys & Girls Club.

Jade Kokinda

Jade is a junior at Portage High School. She discovered her interest in STEM through Project Lead the Way (PLTW) pre-engineering courses and Science Olympiad competitions in school.

Makayla Zettler

Makayla is a junior at Portage High School. Makayla enjoys many Project Lead the Way (PLTW) and robotics courses in school, but she is also fond of the arts.
